What does a licence cover?
A licence is per production app — one product/codebase you ship — with unlimited developers building it. Every feature is on every tier; higher tiers add scale (more apps, no revenue cap) and rights, not features.
What counts as one app?
One production application or product surface. Local development, staging and evaluation are always free. If you ship multiple distinct products, the Team tier covers unlimited apps.
What is the 'perpetual fallback'?
If you stop renewing, you keep a perpetual licence to the last version you received during your active term. You only lose access to new updates and support — your shipped app keeps working forever.
How do OEM / redistribution licences work?
OEM / Enterprise (from $5,000/yr) covers redistribution, white-label, resale and air-gapped deployments, with an SLA, source escrow and custom terms. If you embed Lumen inside a product you sell to others, this is the tier — talk to us.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — a 30-day money-back guarantee on every paid tier, no questions asked.
Who handles billing and tax?
Purchases are processed via a Merchant-of-Record, which handles global VAT / sales tax, invoicing and compliance — so you get a clean, tax-correct invoice wherever you are.
Is the on-device AI really free to run?
Yes. Because the models run on the user's device, there's no per-use inference cost to meter — it's part of the flat licence, with no per-minute or per-credit charges ever.
